This latest edition is based on data collected from 294 printing companies located in the United States and Canada. These businesses vary widely in size, with annual revenues ranging from under $500,000 to over $200 million.

Sales Growth: On average, sales increased by 3.0% during the first three quarters of 2024 among SOI participants.
Operating Costs vs. Pricing: Operating costs rose by 5.9%, outpacing the average price increase of 4.1%, as costs rose strictly because of inflation for about 80% of State of the Industry panel members.
Profitability: Despite cost pressures, pre-tax profitability increased by 29.2%.
